As the managing partner/founder of the agency, I oversee the operations of the agency, as well as being involved with many clients on a daily basis to ensure their needs are met.

Work directly with employers to design, implement & communicate comprehensive employee benefits program which allows employers a competitive advantage to recruit & retain talent & operate a successful business since talented people are the greatest asset of a business.

It’s hard to believe I started my career in the insurance industry nearly 30 years ago. After several years working with Allstate, I realized how much I enjoyed working with employers and employees to help them understand their benefits package. Experience has taught me more than any classroom or book, but I am constantly learning as our industry changes. I am proud Member of National Association of Health Underwriters, & served on the TN Technical Advisory Group as TN explored establishing a state based insurance exchange, and on the board of Knoxville Association of Health Underwriters.

What I Love To Do Away From Work

The list is long, but…spending time with my wife, Angela. We recently celebrated our 28th wedding anniversary & have two wonderful kids, Samantha & Savanna. We love taking road trips together & exploring the backroads and old stores. Some of my favorite activities are; road cycling, boating, water & snow skiing, hiking, just about anything outdoors, Angela & love discovering new BBQ dives & local donut shops. Normally, you will find me working outdoors or on a project around the house. Enjoy reading (when I sit down) and talking 1 on 1 with fatherless young men. Beverly Taylor

Clarksville Branch Manager
Direct: (931) 802-6048

What I Do/Career Background

As a Commercial Line Agent and the Managing Partner in the Clarksville, TN office, I have the opportunity to meet and serve business owners with their insurance needs. I enjoy learning about the challenges they face as they grow their business and work with them as a partner to protect their investment.

Making a career change when I did was the most difficult thing I’ve ever done. But after being in the insurance business for several years, I can say it has been the most rewarding as well. I thoroughly enjoy the relationship aspect of our business.

What I Love To Do Away From Work

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy running, working out, kayaking and cruising with my husband in our little convertible. This was an anniversary gift to me several years ago but I think I’ve driven it twice. I plan to start hiking soon. I’d like to hike in all the state parks in Tennessee.

My Favorite Movie Quote and/or List of Favorite Movies

My favorite movie changes occasionally. Right now, my favorite is “God’s Not Dead”. My favorite quote changes from time to time as well. Currently, my favorite quote (not from a movie) is “You are not born a winner. You are not born a loser. You are born a choser.” That came from Michael Hyatt.

Two Truths and a Lie

Commercial Marketing Consultant
Direct: (865) 257-8680

What I Do/Career Background

Since 2012 I have worked with numerous commercial clients in a number of different industries (property, liability, and worker’s compensation). Currently, I am targeting 3 specific industries: hospitality and restaurant, agriculture/farm, and construction. Prior to my life in insurance, I worked at Ferguson Enterprises, and sold plumbing to plumbers and Residential General Contractors.

What I Love To Do Away From Work

This list could be extensive, but I will try to keep it short.  Two of my favorite hobbies include fly-fishing and woodworking. I wish I could say that I love to work out, but I actually don’t like it at all. While I love many outdoor activities and am always up for an adventure, the most adventurous part of my life right now is learning to be a father to my first child, Penn. My wife, Kelly and I, just celebrated our 5 year anniversary, and one of our favorite activities would be having friends over for dinner and spending the night in fellowship and laughter.

My Favorite Movie Quote and/or List of Favorite Movies

Again, this list could be very, very long… a few favorites though.

Remember the Titans
The Family Man

Favorite Movie Quote:
Fletch: Do you have any caviar?

What I Love To Do Away From Work

I love East Tennessee and all the wonderful opportunities it holds. Karen and I love to spend time in the mountains, hiking and going on picnics. We hope to add to our list of trails hiked by one a month over the next year, except when it’s freezing! We enjoy traveling, and hope to make both a north and south loop of National Parks out west, using Denver as our starting point since our daughter and son in law live there. I’m a huge sports fan, especially UT sports. I enjoy reading, mostly fiction suspense thrillers, with the occasional biography. We are active in Christ Covenant Church, serving as a deacon, the greeters ministry, senior meals delivery and others. I have also enjoyed Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) over the last couple of years.

I am a commercial customer service representative & bond agent (sorry fellas that is way different from a 007 Bond girl). Many years ago, while making a career change, I asked my Insurance Agent for a personal reference but ended up with a job in his insurance agency instead. That was August of 2000. I can honestly say I’ve learned something new almost every day since (one of my favorite things about my job).

What I Love To Do Away From Work

Commercial Service Account Representative
Direct: (865) 826-3991

What I Do/Career Background

I am a commercial lines customer service representative. I have been at Wyatt Insurance Services for 12 years. Before Wyatt, I was previously with Federated Insurance. Prior to that, I was in banking.

What I Like To Do Away From Work

In my time away from work, I enjoy reading about many subjects (I sometimes have several books going at one time!), antique shopping, doing anything outside and spending time with, and trying to keep up with my 6 year old grandson, Sean.

My Favorite Book

My favorite book is “Desert Queen” about the life of Gertrude Bell, (1868—1926). She turned away from the privileged world of the wealthy Victorians, and explored, mapped, and excavated in Syria, Arabia,Iraq and Iran. She normally explored out in the deserts alone, except for a native she took along as a cook. She was recruited by British intelligence during World War I, and played a crucial role in obtaining the loyalty of Arab leaders. She associated with and advised people like T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) and Winston Churchill. After the war, she played a major role in creating the modern Middle East and was, at the time, considered the most powerful woman in the British Empire.

Favorite Movie Quote and Favorite Movie

I love old movies (especially the 60’s – I love the clothes!) and anything Cary Grant or Doris Day.

My favorite movie is probably Gone With the Wind. Scarlett never appreciated poor old Rhett Butler.

Scarlett says to Rhett, when he is leaving her, at the very end, “But Rhett, where will I go? What shall I do? Rhett says, “Frankly my dear, I don’t give a **&&” LOL

Bucket list:

Learn more about astronomy so I know what I am looking at, at night when I look up at the sky!
Travel the Lewis and Clark trail, especially their route through Montana and over the Bitterroot mountains into Idaho.
Visit Monticello in Virginia, Thomas Jefferson’s home.
Take a ride in a fighter jet. Even more exciting, with the Navy’s Blue Angels!
Drive the coastal highway from Northern California all the way down into Baja and have enough time to take little side trips.
Stand next to the giant Sequoias, the President and General Sherman to get a feel for how big they really are.

JJ Reidy

Employee Benefits Administrator
Direct: (865) 862-3984

What I Do/Career Background

I provide day to day support for employers and employees with claim, enrollment, and eligibility issues on the Group Health side of this business. I have been in the employee benefits industry since 1999 and I’ve been an employee with Wyatt since 2008.

What I Love To Do Away From Work

I’m blessed that I have a husband that works in the TV industry as a camera man for sporting events. We have been able to travel together and have seen some amazing places. The highlight of this year (2015) was going to Scotland and attending the final round of The British Open at St Andrews and then traveling on to Dublin, Ireland for a few days.

I love all sports and as my husband is in the industry I like to keep up with everything going on, so even when I’m home alone I will probably be watching ESPN, Fox Sports 1 or the Golf Channel. However, I do indulge in a few reality shows and “The Real Housewives” are a serious guilty pleasure of mine. I keep waiting for a Real Housewives of Knoxville to come out.

My husband and I love going to concerts and have quite an eclectic range in music tastes, but we are old Pearl Jam fans and usually follow them around to as many shows as possible whenever they go on tour. I started training in kickboxing this year and love it. I train 4 times a week so it keeps me busy. It’s excellent stress relief and may have caused a slight obsession for Ronda Rousey.

I have a 5 year old niece and she’s the light of my life. I spend a lot of time with her, spoil her rotten, and we usually have weekly slumber parties. Since my husband travels for a living her favorite thing to do is to call him before we go to bed and tell him she’s in his spot and he pretends to be jealous but he probably actually is.

My Favorite Movie Quote and/or List of Favorite Movies

The Sandlot – “You’re killing me smalls!”
Jerry Maguire – “Don’t worry, I’m not gonna do what you all think I’m gonna do, which is, you know, FLIP OUT!”
The Great Gatsby – “There are all kinds of love in this world but never the same love twice”  F.Scott Fitzgerald
The Catcher in the Rye – “I don’t exactly know what I mean by that, but I mean it.” J.D.Sallinger

Retire Early
• Take my niece to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
• See the Titans win a Super Bowl in my lifetime
• Meet Ronda Rousey
